I was going to cut this down and put it into the usual format, telling you all just how great Mike is. It is, however, so impressive.I had to just let it stand. It speaks volumes! The only thing it doesn't tell you, is what a top driving coach Mike is, and what a nice guy too! Please read it.it's outstanding!

Mike has competed 7 times in the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, won a total of 9 British Championships and is a QHI Helicopter Instructor with 8,000 + hours flight time. An ARDS Grade ‘A’ Race Car Instructor, coaching clients include manufacturers such as Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Ferrari, Volvo, Mitsubishi, Renault, etc.

He started racing in May 1965 with 750 Motor Club in 1172 Formula DRW (3rd in first ever race, 2nd in second race, 1st in third ever race)

1966 to 1969 only various one off races due lack of funds

1970 raced Formula 4 Vixen-Imp taking 13 Wins

1971 Several wins in Formula Ford 1600 also winner of the Royal Tunbridge Wells Trophy in Chevron B8-BMW at Brands Hatch

1972/1973 Formula 3, various wins and lap records, 3rd in British Lombard F3 Championship and raced at Monaco

1974 European Formula 5000 and first F1 race at Watkins Glen in the US Grand Prix for Team Ensign

1975 Argentinean and Brazilian Grand Prix for BRM (Retired in both with mechanical problems)

1976 Raced Ensign and Shadow F1 cars in the Shellsport Group 8 Championship

1977 Various drives in a Dolomite Sprint in the British Touring Car Championship

1978 British Formula Two Champion driving Ralt RT1-Cosworth, one off drive in ‘works’ Toyota Celica in the BTCC

1980 Drove the unique Chevron B41-DFV in British Aurora F1 Championship

1981 Porsche 935 in the World Sports Car Championship, including Le Mans 24 Hour

1982 De Cadanet-DFV Le Mans 24 Hour Race

1983 British Open Winner driving Formula One Williams FW07C-4 Litre Hart Tuned DFV

1984 World Group C2 Championship with Ecurie Ecosse also drove an Alfa Romeo GTV6 in Tourist Trophy

1985 2nd in the World Group C2 Championship with Ecurie Ecosse

1986 World Group C2 Team Champion with Ecurie Ecosse, also Bovis Thoroughbred Sports Car Champion (Aston Martin DB4GT) and Thundersport Chairman’s Cup Winner for Can Am Cars in 6 litre Lola-T530 Chevrolet

1987 World Group C2 Championship with Ecurie Ecosse plus Thundersport in Can Am Lola T530

1988 ‘works’ Nissan Group C drive at Le Mans also drove ‘works’ Toyota Group C at Fuji

1990 BRDC Group C2 Champion driving an Ecosse-3.3 Litre Cosworth DFL

RJB ‘Thundersport’ Champion 1992, 1993, 1996, 1999 and 2000 driving Chevron B19 and B36 2 Litre BDG Sports
Cars

1997 Raced T.V.R. Services Tuscan in several rounds of the tvr Tuscan Championship

Currently racing an ex Edenbridge Racing BMW 320i E46 in Britcar, Mazda RX-8 in the Silverstone 24 Hour Race (for Guglielmi Motorsport)  plus a Spice SE-88 3.9 Litre DFL  in Group C
